Aquasana Under the Counter Water Filter Simple to Install!

We rightful purchased an Aquasana under the counter water filter along with a shower filter for the bathroom. The model was the Aquasana AQ-4210. What we like is that the dual filter system water filter is so exceptional to plastic “jug” type filters like Britta. Hooking it up was very simple and easy to end. We took our sprayer out of the sink (which we never used) and replaced it with the faucet, which came with the unit. Then a couple of screws with the filter part under the founder and a couple of “push” connections and we were done!

Then off to the bathroom where we installed the Aquasana AQ-4100 shower filter. This only took a transcript or two and the Aquasana AQ-4100, product of the year by Cosmetology Today was installed. It comes with a two-stage filter cartridge and an adjustable insistence showerhead. (With a massaging pulse setting, which I love!)

Recent studies have shown that water from a shower, which contains chlorine, is 7-10 times unhealthier than drinking water! Both products were straightforward to install and I would recommend them to everyone.

The GE SmartWater replacement filter cartridge (FXULC rev. 2) fits all GE SmartWater unique-stage drinking water filters and many other brands of housings that accept 9.75 x 2.5 inch filters such as: GE GX1S15C, GE GN1S15CBL, GE GX1S01C, Culligan US-550, and Culligan US-600. It is interchangeable with all of the following filters: GE FXUVC, GE FXUTC, and Culligan D20, D30, & D40. It removes the following impurities: 98% of Advance, 90% of Mercury (6.5pH), 89% of Atrazine (a Herbicide), 92% of Lindane (a Pesticide), 89% of Cysts, 99% of Asbestos, 99% of Turbidity, 97% of Chlorine Drop and Odor, Particulates 0.5-1.0 micron. It does not remove flouride. GE recommends that you replace the filter every 6 months OR after 600 Gallons of water have been filtered OR if you comment a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water.

Works as stated. I use it to filter my drinking and cooking water. Clears the “off” soup of my munincipal supply.
