What the Future Brings

Yesterday was not so humane. We heard from the estate agent in Morecambe and the property we hoped to buy has been withdrawn from the agent's and believed to have been sold (above a answerable to to contract) to someone else. Then our own estate agent phoned to ask us to drop our price even further, if not they would themselves withdraw and we should look for another agent. Well, that is what Beloved told me they had said. Sounds a bit like coerce to me. We have a few days to think about it, but doubt very much if we will reduce it to the low level they wish.
This morning, checking my personal inbox for your comments (sent precisely to me by blogger.com) also received one from our grandson in America, so now will be able to contact him directlyagain. That has cheered me up no end. The highs and lows of vital spark mentioned the other day. Life's rich pattern I think it is called.

Thanks for that tip SweeterRita re oven-chips. Will try that myself. Neither of us (B and me) like the bought (frozen) oven-chips as they either seem too thin and end up dry, or too thick (we tender them thicker) and don't seem to crisp up enough.

Your mention of the amount of work we can get through in a limited amount of time Moira, brought my thoughts back to an old diary where I listed down everything I did during one day, and how hanker it took me to do it. One good thing about that philosophy group - mentioned recently - was that it taught us to concentrate only on the work in guardianship and think of nothing else. This type of 'tunnel vision' approach really does work well for the work is always accomplished to a higher paradigm and often in less time. Useful when cooking.

Odd how time seems to be quite elastic. During a school term, a whole day seemed endless, but then school holidays seemed to shine by, and now am getting so much older, not just weeks, but years seem to come and go in the blink of an eye. Noticed this yesterday when I found the pack of seeds

pizza countries

Pizza , is called the “crust” in the Partnership States and Canada. may very widely according to style: thin as in hand-tossed pizza or Roman pizza, thick as in pan pizza, or very thick, as in Chicago-style pizza. It is traditionally austere, but may also be seasoned with butter, garlic, or herbs, or stuffed with cheese.

Pizza can be baked in different ways :

- a gas oven with stone bricks above the passion source.

- an electric deck oven.

- a conveyor belt oven.

- in the case of more expensive restaurants, a wood- or coal-fired brick oven. On deck ovens, the pizza can be slid into the oven on a extended paddle called a peel and baked directly on the hot bricks or baked on a screen (a round metal rasp, typically aluminum).

- When making pizza at home, it can be baked on a pizza stone in a regular oven to imitate the effect of a brick oven. Another chance is grilled pizza, in which the crust is baked directly on a barbecue grill. Greek pizza.

- like Chicago-style pizza, is baked in a pan rather than speedily on the bricks of the pizza oven.

In home-made pizza, there are many variations on the bread used for crust. In some countries, creations such as french bread pizza, pita pizza, bagel pizza, matzo pizza, and tortilla pizza are everyday. One of the reasons many home cooks opt for these crusts is because they find that, when making homemade pizza, the dough and crust are the biggest challenge.
